Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Willy Cool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Files (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Files ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Willy Cool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cool throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Files misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Files throws a series of punches but Cool avoids them all with ease.

Files is looking to stand back up but Cool counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Files.

Cool is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Files wants to get back to his feet.

Well, if Cool is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Cool missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Files avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cool.

Cool stands up and beckons Files to join him on the feet.
Cool stuns Files with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Files with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Peter Files is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A punch lands to the side of Files 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Cool swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Cool shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Files napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cool is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Files's shoulder. That is not cool.

Files is trying to buck Cool off.
Cool has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cool connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Files some visible discomfort.

Cool is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Files knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Cool is looking to take a break and control but Files is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cool thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Files pushes Cool off but Cool dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Files is trying to buck Cool off.
Files tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cool wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Files looks gassed!
A lull in the action here as Cool stalls from top position.
Cool has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Files!

Files is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Cool locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Files is forced to tap!
