With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Ready!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holliday gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ready to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ready missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Ready landing with the ground and pound.
Ready postures up and lands a big shot to Holliday's brow.
Holliday looking for a sweep. Not yet Holliday, not yet.

Ready postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Holliday avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Holliday utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ready throwing strikes but missing.
Ready must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ready keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Holliday's head.

Ready thows a big elbow that misses.

Holliday has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ready can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ready trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ready loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Holliday looking for a guillotine here but Ready defends easily.
