The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buhr scores with a hook to the body. McDowell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Buhr walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
McDowell ducks under a wild hook from Buhr.
Buhr throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McDowell slips under a jab.
Buhr stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McDowell.
McDowell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Buhr.
McDowell dodges the punch combination from Buhr.
McDowell thumps Buhr with a low kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for McDowell.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McDowell scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Buhr misses with a double jab.
McDowell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McDowell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McDowell on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Buhr misses with a straight right.
Buhr throws a left and a right that both miss
and McDowell counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Buhr is breathing heavily.
McDowell plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
That's one minute gone in the round.
McDowell lands a big head kick that sends Buhr tumbling to the mat! McDowell takes a step backwards and waves Buhr back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Buhr is rocked!
It looks like Alexander Buhr has been cut.
McDowell lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Oh Buhr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McDowell is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Buhr hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
