Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rex Garris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanzo Hasashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rex Garris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hanzo Hasashi!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasashi shoots in but no luck this time.

Garris gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hasashi to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Hasashi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hasashi is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Garris manages to get to full guard.
Garris wants to stand up but Hasashi is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hasashi keeps the fight on the outside.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hasashi is trying to control. Garris wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Garris is refusing to be controlled, as Hasashi sits in half guard.
Hasashi looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Hasashi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Hasashi wants to take a breather but Garris is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hasashi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Garris with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hasashi seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Hasashi is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Hasashi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hasashi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Garris does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Garris is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hasashi connects with a decent elbow.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Let's hope that Hasashi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Hanzo Hasashi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hasashi stands up over Garris, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hasashi looking to sit in guard and control but Garris gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hanzo Hasashi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Garris wants to stand and escape but Hasashi is having none of it.

Hanzo Hasashi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Hasashi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
