Pizzaelli feints and as Peraemetsae raises his hands in defense, Pizzaelli changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pizzaelli forces his way into half guard.
Pizzaelli takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Pizzaelli wants to pass the guard but Peraemetsae is defending well.
Pizzaelli is looking to take a break and control but Peraemetsae is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pizzaelli looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Pizzaelli has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Pizzaelli is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Peraemetsae is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Peraemetsae wants to control but Pizzaelli postures up.
Pizzaelli throws a strike aimed at the side of Peraemetsae's head but Peraemetsae avoids it well.
Peraemetsae is looking to regain half guard here but Pizzaelli keeps moving and retains side control.
The strikes coming from Pizzaelli are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Peraemetsae tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pizzaelli wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
