Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Craik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanzo Hasashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanzo Hasashi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Craik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hanzo Hasashi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasashi stuffs the takedown.
Craik shoots for a takedown but Hasashi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hasashi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hasashi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hasashi wants to pass the guard but Craik is keeping the position.
Craik will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Craik is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hasashi shoots in for a double leg but Craik sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hasashi closes the distance and clinches up with Craik, looking for a takedown. Hasashi pushes Craik against the cage but Craik circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Craik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hasashi's guard.

Craik drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Craik jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Craik decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hasashi, up you get!

Hasashi shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Craik is trying to defend but Hasashi finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hasashi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Craik. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Craik is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hasashi pulls his head out easily.

Hasashi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Craik has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hasashi has managed to get both his arms back between Craik's legs - danger averted.
Craik on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Craik tries to get out of the position.
Craik wants to stand but Hasashi is controlling the position.
