Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dee Teeqy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Shar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shar misses with a hook. Teeqy ducked under it nicely.
No luck for Shar with that takedown attempt.
Shar wants to clinch up but Teeqy keeps it at a distance.
Teeqy throws a sloppy head kick and Shar moves out of range easily.
Shar ducks right into an uppercut from Teeqy.
No joy there for Teeqy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shar misses with a body kick.

Shar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Dee Teeqy will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Teeqy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Shar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Teeqy is trying to control the action in half guard but Shar is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Shar lands a jab to Teeqy's midsection.

and Shar counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dee Teeqy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's time! Teeqy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Shar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Teeqy manages to avoid it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Teeqy jumps guard and drags Shar to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dee Teeqy.
