Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kelly Wells!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Harry Goldstein!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wells throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Goldstein shoots in but Wells avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The fighters circling - Goldstein throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Goldstein fails with a takedown attempt.
Goldstein fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kelly Wells has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Goldstein.
Wells misses with a hook.
Goldstein connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wells's hands.
Wells throws a series of punches but Goldstein avoids them all with ease.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Goldstein keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Goldstein decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goldstein has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Goldstein is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wells to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wells shrugs it off.

Goldstein moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Wells has worked his arm free - good work by Wells!

Goldstein working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Goldstein tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Goldstein has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Wells regains half guard there - taking advantage of Goldstein's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Wells makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Wells.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Goldstein drops back looking for a leg! Wells is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wells manages to kick Goldstein off! Goldstein jumps back into Wells's guard.
Goldstein pushes down on Wells's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Wells wants to get back to full guard.

Goldstein is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Goldstein is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Goldstein is looking to advance position but Wells won't allow it.
Goldstein prevents Wells from improving his position.
Wells might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wells is trying to control but can't.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Wells is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Goldstein's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Goldstein's back!

Goldstein rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Goldstein has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Wells escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Wells!

Wells throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Goldstein shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Goldstein is working for a submission of some sort.
Wells tries to roll over but Goldstein keeps him under control.
Goldstein is keen to just control but Wells is a slippery customer.

Goldstein passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Wells!
Wells is trying to escape the mount.
Wells is squirming around, avoiding Goldstein's attempts to control the action.
Wells knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goldstein on the ground.

Wells defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Goldstein.

Goldstein swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wells is now in Goldstein's guard. A big mistake from Goldstein there, giving up the dominant position!
Goldstein is breathing heavily.

Wells wants to control from the top but Goldstein keeps moving.
Goldstein is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Wells wants to pass the guard but Goldstein is keeping the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wells looking to hit a scissor sweep but Goldstein is one step ahead there.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Goldstein has gone for a leg lock! Wells slips out almost immediately though and dives into Goldstein's guard.

Wells is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Goldstein has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Wells is looking to defend but Goldstein has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Wells! Goldstein pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Wells taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Harry Goldstein!
