Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Alberto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grand Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Alberto!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grand Flash!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alberto lands a body shot.

Alberto shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Flash napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Flash manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Flash with the active half guard here but Alberto passes nicely into side control.
Alberto connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Flash some visible discomfort.

Alberto decides to stand up, so the ref orders Flash to his feet.

and Alberto counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Flash shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Flash was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Alberto bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Flash working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Alberto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Alberto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Alberto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Flash moves away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Alberto counters with a single leg into guard. Flash didn't expect that.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Alberto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
