Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frodo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Blast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blast has chosen Goldfinger - Superman as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frodo Baggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Blast!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Baggins.
Baggins tries to clinch up but Blast circles away and keeps his distance.
A cross from Blast lands.
Baggins fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baggins shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blast but Blast pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frodo Baggins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Baggins doesn't manage to clinch there - Blast circles away.
Baggins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The fight stays on the outside here - Baggins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Blast looks to land a left hand but Baggins moved out of range nicely.
Blast loads up on a big right hand but Baggins slips the punch.

Baggins shoots for a takedown but Blast saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Blast throws a lazy right hand but Baggins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Baggins shoots for a double leg takedown but Blast sprawls well. He's pushed Baggins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tim Blast is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Blast slaps away a takedown attempt from Baggins, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Frodo Baggins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blast uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

The fighters circling - Blast throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Baggins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Baggins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blast's waist but Blast gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baggins off to one side.

Blast is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Baggins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blast moves away.

Baggins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blast tries to avoid it but Baggins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blast to the ground. Blast escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Baggins misses with a double jab.
Blast lands a glancing blow to the side of Baggins's head.
Baggins bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Baggins doesn't manage to clinch there - Blast circles away.

Baggins keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Blast's head.
Blast is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baggins tries to free his leg and advance position but Blast is retaining full guard.
Bagginsis looking to pass into half guard but Blast pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Blast is in guard.
Baggins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blast is one step ahead there.
Baggins is working hard here to advance position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Baggins preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Blast's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tim Blast showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Baggins throws a nice looking combination but Blast bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Blast might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Baggins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Blast defends it nicely.
Baggins takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Tim Blast comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Blast winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
