Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryoto Macheeda!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Davis. No joy for Macheeda on that attempt.

Davis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Macheeda can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Davis controls the pace.

Macheeda had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Davis is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Macheeda Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Davis's back instead.
Davis trying to control the hands but Macheeda breaks the grip.

Macheeda looking to break Davis's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Davis remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Macheeda will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Macheeda punches the canvas rather than the man.
Macheeda is not going to allow Davis to sit and survive in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Davis manages to reverse the position and now he's in Macheeda's guard. Nice work there by Davis.

Macheeda looking for a guillotine here but Davis defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Davis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Davis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Macheeda can't do much from the bottom here.

Davis grinds an elbow into Macheeda's temple.
Macheeda parries the strikes from Davis easily there. Davis is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Macheeda to escape.

Davis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Davis is trying to move to mount but Macheeda reverses beautifully and ends up in Davis's guard.
Macheeda slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Davis.
Macheeda prevents Davis from standing back up.

Davis tries to get to full guard but Macheeda has control of the leg.

Macheeda is trying for a kimura here. Davis looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Macheeda wins by kimura!
