Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Petr Had (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rannanjarvi Antti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Had 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nice takedown defense from Antti. No joy for Had on that attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Antti looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Had drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Had stops Antti from standing up.
Antti keeping moving, preventing Had from controlling successfully.

Antti pushes Had off and scrambles back to his feet.

Had wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Antti is looking to break free of the clinch but Had has double underhooks.

Antti breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Had tries to close the distance and clinch up but Antti swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Antti closes the distance and clinches up with Had, looking for a takedown. Antti pushes Had against the cage but Had circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Had looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Antti is fending him off so far but Had persists. Nope, Antti circles away and we're back to standing.
Had looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Had tries to free his leg and advance position but Antti is retaining full guard.

Had stands and steps away. Antti gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Had shoots for a takedown but Antti saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Had looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Had works his way into side control.

Had tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Had has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Antti is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Antti is not content to let Had control the position.

Antti is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Had has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Had tries to move to mount but Antti blocks the move with his legs.
Antti wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Had wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Antti, who protects the arm well.

Had thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Had working the head and body with strikes.

Had tries for a kimura but Antti is defending well.
Antti tries to escape but Had is in control.
Had scores with a couple of short elbows.
Had prevents Antti from escaping the position.

Had swings around for an armbar but Antti sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Had's guard.
Antti would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Had wants to sweep but no luck.
Antti tries to stand but Had is controlling from the bottom.
Antti is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Had has his foot on Antti's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Antti works his way back into a safe position though.
Antti must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Antti tries to stand but Had is controlling from the bottom.

A head kick from Antti lands but Had takes it in his stride.

Had jumps into guard, dragging Antti to the mat.
Had bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Antti's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Had is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Antti is just riding it out for now. Had eventually gives up the hold.
Had trying to mount his opponent but Antti defends it.

Antti tries to kick Had off but Had keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Had looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Antti moves into the clinch.

Had escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Had fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Antti sprawls well initially but Had persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Had in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Antti tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Had!
