Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Jason Bawalan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heather Osborne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bawalan comes to the cage accompanied by Someday. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Osborne does no damage.
Osborne throws a looping overhand right but Bawalan ducks down to avoid it.

Osborne lands an elbow inside.
Bawalan tries to score a body lock takedown but Osborne shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Osborne prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bawalan managing to block the knees to the body from Osborne.

Osborne is refusing to be controlled, as Bawalan sits in half guard.

Bawalan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Bawalan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Osborne is just riding it out for now. Bawalan eventually gives up the hold.

Bawalan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Osborne swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Osborne can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bawalan controls the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Osborne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bawalan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Osborne fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bawalan tries for a takedown but Osborne sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Osborne misses with a few strikes there.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Osborne lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bawalan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bawalan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bawalan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Osborne sprawls well initially but Bawalan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bawalan wants to advance to full mount but Osborne doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bawalan moves into full mount! Osborne won't be happy about that!
Osborne stops Bawalan from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Osborne tries to lock up and control but Bawalan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
