Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Larsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Dollar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vincent Larsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cameron Dollar!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Larsson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Larsson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Dollar is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Dollar can't do much from the bottom here.
Larsson trying to control the action but Dollar is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Dollar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Larsson tries to score with some ground and pound. Dollar controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Dollar gets back to half guard.
Larsson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Dollar tries to kick Larsson off but Larsson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Dollar is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Larsson pulls his head out easily.
Larsson thows a huge punch but Dollar dodges it nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Dollar shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Larsson is trying to get back to full guard.
Dollar is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Dollar wants to free his trapped foot but Larsson is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Larsson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Larsson counters with a single leg into guard. Dollar didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Larsson tries to free his leg and advance position but Dollar is retaining full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dollar holds on and takes a little breather.
Larsson wants to control from the top but Dollar keeps moving.
Dollar is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Larsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dollar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vincent Larsson will probably get the nod.

Larsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dollar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Larsson has managed to get both his arms back between Dollar's legs - danger averted.

Dollar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Larsson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dollar has his foot on Larsson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Larsson works his way back into a safe position though.

Larsson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dollar wants to stand and escape but Larsson is having none of it.

Cameron Dollar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

and Dollar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Larsson's guard.
Larsson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dollar on the ground.

Dollar gets to his feet. Larsson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Dollar jumps guard and drags Larsson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Larsson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Dollar has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Larsson doesn't defend quickly enough and Dollar has managed to lock this one up! Can Larsson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Dollar on a fantastic submission victory.
