The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juice fails with an attempt to clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Juice rushes Dude and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Juice wants a takedown.
Juice misses with the head strike.
Juice looking for a takedown.
A nice right hand lands inside from Juice.
Stalling in the clinch from Juice.
Juice stalling in the clinch but Dude improves position.
Dude goes for a takedown attempt but Juice pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Juice wants to clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dude checks a leg kick nicely.

Juice clinches with his opponent.
Juice swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Dude pulls guard effortlessly.
Dude trying to keep a closed guard but Juice is proving a slippery customer.

Juice thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dude has his hands on Juice's head, controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Juice drops back looking for a leg! Dude is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dude manages to kick Juice off! Juice jumps back into Dude's guard.
Dude wants to sweep here but Juice controlling him for the moment.
Dude knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Juice on the ground.

Dude working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Juice.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dude slips a jab from Juice.
Juice leaves Dude with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Juice has his takedown stuffed

and Dude counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Guy Dude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rassberry Juice.

Juice pulls Dude in close to prevent any damage.
Dude is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dude will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Juice keeping moving, preventing Dude from controlling successfully.
Dude with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dude postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Juice is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Dude drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Juice manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Juice connects with a nice short shot to Dude's temple.
