The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Clair looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chansta is fending him off so far but St Clair persists. Nope, Chansta circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice sprawl there from Chansta as St Clair shoots in.
Chansta shoots in and bounces St Clair off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Chansta drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chansta jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Chansta is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! St Clair is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! St Clair has escaped and now he's on top!
St Clair drops back looking for a leg! Chansta is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chansta manages to kick St Clair off! St Clair jumps back into Chansta's guard.
Chansta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with St Clair. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chansta looking for submissions from the bottom but instead St Clair passes into side control.
St Clair has hold of Chansta's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Chansta tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - St Clair cranks the arm and Chansta screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Chansta, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
