The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maier swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Maier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Maier tries to clinch but Arum is having none of it.
Arum circles away from the clinch attempt.
Horrible takedown by Arum or perhaps it was just good defense by Maier which made him look bad.
Maier drops Arum with a beautiful combination! Arum stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Maier is looking for the KO!
It looks like Gary Don Oscar Arum has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maier lands an uppercut, right on the button! Arum tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
