The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Farnsworth closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yamamoto did well to prevent Farnsworth getting side control.
Farnsworth takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Yamamoto wants to sweep but Farnsworth has passed to side control!
Yamamoto is trying to control Farnsworth's posture but Farnsworth avoids it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Farnsworth closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Yamamoto wants to control but Farnsworth is keeping busy.
Yamamoto is looking for a sweep. Farnsworth is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Farnsworth tries to stand but can't do so whilst Yamamoto controls his leg.
Yamamoto is trying to stand up here but Farnsworth is controlling him well.
Yamamoto is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Farnsworth could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Farnsworth pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Farnsworth tries to clinch up but Yamamoto circles away and keeps his distance.
Farnsworth tests Yamamoto's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Farnsworth closes the distance and lands a one-two.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
