The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MAX throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. MAX sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
MAX is staying active underneath Silva, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if MAX can do anything to dispel that myth.
