Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ip Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiki Hauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tiki Hauss!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hauss shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Man sprawls well. Man wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hauss gets slowly back to his feet.
Danga de danga de dang - Man scores with a four punch combination!
Hauss dives in and grabs Man's left leg, looking for a takedown. Man pushes down on Hauss's head and hops out.
Hauss keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Man avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Man misses with a jab, cross combination.
Man wants to clinch.
Man fails to land with a series of punches.
Man tries to clinch up but Hauss circles away and keeps his distance.

and Hauss counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Man wants to stand up but Hauss is controlling him.
Hauss in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hauss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Man. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Man had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hauss defends it easily.
Hauss not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Man is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Man utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Man trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hauss stuffs the takedown.
Man misses with a few strikes there.
Hauss tries to clinch there but Man circles away.
Hauss fails in his attempt to clinch.

Man moves out of range as Hauss throws a body kick.

Hauss decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hauss stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hauss wants it to stay on the feet.

Hauss walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Man checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Hauss looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Man is fending him off so far but Hauss persists. Nope, Man circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hauss stuffs the takedown attempt from Man. Man gets slowly back to his feet.
Man doesn't manage to clinch there - Hauss circles away.

Man moves into range and clinches up with Hauss.
Knees to the body from Man.
Hauss looking to stall.
Man wants to break the clinch but can't.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hauss tries to circle away but Man has him pinned against the cage.
Hauss tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hauss keeps control of Man as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Hauss is staying active underneath Man, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hauss can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Horrible takedown by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Hauss which made him look bad.

Tiki Hauss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Man closes the distance and clinches up with Hauss, looking for a takedown. Man pushes Hauss against the cage but Hauss circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Tiki Hauss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hauss has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
