Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Moukako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson has chosen All In The Family as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson tries to clinch up.
Thompson tries to clinch but Moukako is having none of it.
Moukako circles away from the clinch attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moukako is defended easily by Thompson.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moukako swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Moukako feints and as Thompson raises his hands in defense, Moukako changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moukako wants to pass the guard but Thompson is keeping the position.
Moukako stops Thompson from standing up.
Thompson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Moukako stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Moukako changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thompson tries to avoid it but Moukako manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thompson to the ground. Thompson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Moukako will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Thompson tries to clinch up but Moukako circles away and keeps his distance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Moukako will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Thompson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Moukako has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Moukako wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Thompson, who protects the arm well.

Moukako thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Moukako is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Thompson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Thompson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Moukako is controlling him well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thompson can do anything to dispel that myth.
