Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Bush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zach Hainer!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hainer misses the shot to the body.
Hainer misses with a hook.
Bush uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hainer.
A telegraphed right hand from Bush misses the target.
Hainer throws a looping overhand right but Bush ducks down to avoid it.
Bush fails with a takedown attempt.
Bush takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bush keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bush has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hainer finds it's way round the side to connect with Bush's head.
Bush throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Hainer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bush momentarily.

Hainer leaves Bush with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bush looks to land a left hand but Hainer moved out of range nicely.
Hainer misses with a straight left.
Hainer throws a lazy right hand but Bush sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bush takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hainer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hainer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hainer wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hainer throws a lazy right hand but Bush sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bush is looking to slow Hainer down with leg kicks.
Bush moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hainer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bush stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bush moves out of range of the strikes.
Hainer ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hainer wants to clinch.
Bush keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hainer lands a jab to the nose.
Nice takedown defense from Hainer. No joy for Bush on that attempt.
Hainer thows a body shot but no joy.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hainer, as that shot connected.

and Hainer counters with an inside leg kick.
Zach Hainer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hainer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bush manages to avoid it.
Bush avoids the body shot from Hainer.
Hainer cracks a nice hook into Bush's ribs.
Bush shoots in for a takedown but Hainer shows good takedown defense.
Hainer bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bush's head.
Bush dives in and grabs Hainer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hainer pushes down on Bush's head and hops out.
Hainer lands a jab.
Bush shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hainer sprawls well. Hainer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bush gets slowly back to his feet.
Bush takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hainer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bush. Bush circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hainer missing with a left hand there. Bush was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bush ducks under a wild hook from Hainer.
Hainer's corner calls for a 1-2. Hainer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Bush staying out of range there.
Hainer scores with a jab to the body.
Hainer jabs Bush right on the nose. Bush blinks but takes it well.
Hainer just misses with a punch to the body.
Bush keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hainer throws a hook but Bush avoids it easily.
Bush bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zach Hainer dominated that round.
That's time! Bush's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bush takes one to the side of the head.
Bush shoots in but no luck this time.
Bush shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hainer but Hainer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bush's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Bush duly obliges.

Bush shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hainer napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Bush looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
You can see the frustration on Hainer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Hainer is looking to regain half guard here but Bush keeps moving and retains side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hainer just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hainer. Bush does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hainer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hainer digs a good body shot into Bush's ribs.
Bush defending well as Hainer loads up on a big left hand.
Jay Bush is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hainer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hainer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bush takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bush shoots in but no luck this time.

Hainer wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hainer thows a body shot but no joy.
Bush keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Hainer. That snapped Bush's head back.

Hainer cracks Bush with an open hand slap.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Bush checks a leg kick.
Hainer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fighters circling - Bush throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hainer works Bush's body with a nice hook.
Bush moves out of range as Hainer strikes.

Bush misses the shot to the body.

Hainer gets a clinch.
Hainer throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Nice body punch from Hainer.
Bush is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hainer pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Bush jumps guard but Hainer stands there with Bush around his waist. Bush gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Nice body punch from Hainer - that landed with a thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hainer cracks Bush with a nice body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hainer lands an uppercut.
Hainer works on Bush's body with a couple of short punches.
Hainer lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bush or not.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hainer works on Bush's body with a couple of short punches.
Hainer lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Zach Hainer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Hainer is looking to control Bush's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hainer avoid being mounted?

Bush looking to ground and pound but Hainer is blocking nicely.
Hainer is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bush lands a nice shot to the head.
Bush thowing shots but they're missing.
Bush looking to finish Hainer with some ground and pound. This is bad for Hainer!

Bush sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Bush throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Hainer is hanging on here. He's in a desperate position.
Hainer is trying desperately to improve position.
Hainer is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
