Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bret show (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steeve Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). show's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, holly wood. Steeve Murray has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steeve Murray!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray closes the distance and clinches up with show, looking for a takedown. Murray pushes show against the cage but show circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Murray will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Murray rushes show and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
show is looking to break free of the clinch but Murray has double underhooks.
Murray tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. show smiles and moves away.
Bret show has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steeve Murray.
Murray doesn't manage to clinch there - show circles away.
show throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Murray shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
show avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Murray wants to pass the guard but show is keeping the position.
Murray sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed show's guard.

show tries to kick Murray off but Murray keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Murray trying to control the action but show is working from the bottom.
Murray is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Murray wants to lay and pray for a moment but show keeps working.
show knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Murray on the ground.
Murray moves nicely into side control.
show is trying to buck Murray off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Murray has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
show is breathing heavily.
Murray avoids a kick to the body.
Murray fails to land the takedown.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
show misses with a knee strike.
show tries to break the clinch but Murray is controlling the position.
Murray prevents show from breaking the clinch.
Murray fails to pull the fight into his guard.
show wants to break the clinch but can't.
show prevents the takedown attempt.
show can't break the clinch.
Murray is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Murray misses with a punch to the body.
Murray prevents show from breaking the clinch.
Murray is trying to work for a single leg takedown but show pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Murray tries to pull guard but show won't allow it.
show wants to get back to striking at distance but Murray won't allow it.
show misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Murray.

Murray drops down looking for an ankle pick but show pulls his leg out and moves away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Murray has clasped his hands together around show's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Murray might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control show kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Murray is working to tighten is grip on show's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. show has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Murray is really squeezing tight and eventually show passes out! Murray breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
