The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife misses with a body kick.
Cobb takes a swing at Strife's ribcage but misses.
Strife missing with a left hand there. Cobb was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Strife smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Strife is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cobb sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Cobb avoids the head kick by Strife.
Strife tries to clinch up.
Strife does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Horrible takedown by Strife or perhaps it was just good defense by Cobb which made him look bad.
Cobb bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Cobb lunges at Strife with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Strife's hand.

Strife fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cobb checks it well.
Cobb drops his hands momentarily and Strife takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Strife takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cobb uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Strife cracks Cobb with an open hand slap.

Jayne Cobb is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Strife misses the jab.
Cobb is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Cobb scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Strife is rocked!

Strife switches off momentarily and Cobb cracks him with a monster right hand! Strife topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Cobb dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Cobb!
