The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruscone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Niska tries to avoid it but Bruscone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Niska to the ground. Niska escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Niska closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Niska lands in his opponent's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
