Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paxa Scar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson takes a kick to the side of the head.
Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Scar lands a big head kick that sends Jackson tumbling to the mat! Scar takes a step backwards and waves Jackson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jackson is rocked!

Scar gets a clinch.
Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Scar finish him?
Jackson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Jackson seems to have recovered his senses.
Jackson prevents the takedown attempt.

Scar has picked Jackson up - he's going for a ride! Scar dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jackson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Scar wants to get back to his feet.
Scar wants to pass to mount but Jackson is defending the position.

Scar stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Scar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Scar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Scar lands a big shot there that rocks Jackson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Scar is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jackson has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Scar lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Scar lands a big shot there that rocks Jackson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jackson wants to hold on but Scar pushes him away.
Scar trying to control but Jackson is having none of it.
Scar manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jackson to take his back!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jackson is in bad spot here.

Scar doesn't have the hooks in and Jackson manages to turn into his guard.
Scar is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Scar looking for a guillotine here but Jackson defends easily.
Jackson is pushing down on Scar's leg trying to pass to half guard. Scar is fighting to maintain full guard but Jackson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Jackson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Scar defends it well.
Scar is looking to improve his position.

Jackson is working for a kimura here but Scar manages to reverse the position and he's now in Jackson's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Scar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's time! Scar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Scar moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.

Scar bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Scar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jackson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Scar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jackson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Scar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Scar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson tries to bench press Scar off him but Scar keeps the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Scar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Jackson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Scar sprawls well initially but Jackson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Scar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jackson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jackson's back!

Scar has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Jackson is in real trouble here. Scar gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Jackson is tapping out! Scar wins by rear naked choke!
