Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Andres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hunter Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andres clinches up against the cage.
Jackson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Andres has him pressed against the cage.
Jackson tries to pull guard but Andres won't allow it.
Jackson misses with a punch to the body.
Andres lands an elbow just above Jackson 's eye.

It looks like Hunter Jackson has been cut.
Andres has Jackson pressed against the cage, preventing Jackson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Andres jumps guard.
Andres tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Andres looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson throws a big right hand that misses.
Andres wants to sweep but no luck.

Andres is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jackson defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Andres is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Andres has control of Jackson's left arm, preventing Jackson from doing any damage.
Andres manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.
Andres scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Andres throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Andres cracks Jackson with a solid left hand.
Jackson looks gassed!

Jackson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Andres defends it easily.
Andres trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Jackson has his foot on Andres's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Andres works his way back into a safe position though.

Andres postures up in Jackson's guard and throws a big left but Jackson blocks it.
Andres trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.
Andres throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jackson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Andres misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Andres looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Andres stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Andres drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jackson is looking for a sweep.

Andres stands up and we're back to a striking position.

and Andres counters with a single leg into guard. Jackson didn't expect that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jackson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Andres trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Andres throws a strike but Jackson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Andres throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andres feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Andres changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Andres is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jackson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Andres is looking to defend but Jackson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Andres! Jackson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Andres taps out and this one is all over!
