Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Vermillion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ayman homayed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, ayman homayed!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vermillion closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming homayed to the mat! homayed manages to get full guard.

Vermillion drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vermillion jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
homayed is trying to control the position but Vermillion postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
homayed ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Vermillion shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says homayed as he avoids it easily.

Vermillion wants to take a breather but homayed is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Vermillion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. homayed was covering up waiting for the punch and Vermillion finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Vermillion has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. homayed is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Vermillion.
Vermillion is not content to let homayed control the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Vermillion manages to work his way to half guard, despite homayed's best efforts.
homayed seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vermillion does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Max Vermillion will probably get the nod.

homayed has closed the distance and engaged Vermillion in a clinch.

Vermillion jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as homayed walks away with a smile on his face. Vermillion gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Vermillion throws out a loose jab but homayed uses good head movement to avoid it.
homayed closes the distance and clinches up with Vermillion, looking for a takedown. homayed pushes Vermillion against the cage but Vermillion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
