Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CockO SauruS (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). CockO SauruS will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SauruS stuffs the takedown attempt from jon. jon gets slowly back to his feet.
jon tries for a takedown but SauruS sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
SauruS lunges at jon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by jon's hand.
SauruS lands an overhand right.
SauruS lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A jab from SauruS finds it's way through jon's defenses.
SauruS scores with the left hand. jon knows he should have avoided that one.
jon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roy jon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts SauruS, as that shot connected.
jon takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
SauruS digs a good body shot into jon's ribs.
SauruS lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
jon walks into a stiff left hand from SauruS.

SauruS closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - SauruS lands in his opponent's guard.
SauruS slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

SauruS drops back looking for a leg! jon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and jon manages to kick SauruS off! SauruS jumps back into jon's guard.
jon wants to get back to his feet but SauruS is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
SauruS scoring with punches to the head and body.
SauruS throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
jon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
jon wants to stand and escape but SauruS is having none of it.
jon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for SauruS on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

jon looking for a guillotine here but SauruS defends easily.
jon is breathing heavily.
SauruS trying to control but jon is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
jon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
SauruS has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
jon wants to clinch up but SauruS keeps it at a distance.

SauruS looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
SauruS lands a couple of decent looking shots.

SauruS sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed jon's guard.

SauruS is looking for a kimura here.
jon is looking to control SauruS's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can jon avoid being mounted?
jon wants to sweep but SauruS has passed to side control!
jon is not content to let SauruS control the position.
SauruS advances nicely into full mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
SauruS lands a nice shot to the head.
SauruS trying to control but jon is having none of it.
jon really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
jon tries to lock up and control but SauruS gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
SauruS looking to finish jon with some ground and pound. This is bad for jon!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

SauruS goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now jon is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

SauruS might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
SauruS lands a straight punch to the body, keeping jon at a distance.

jon takes a shot right to the bread basket.
SauruS lands a glancing blow to the side of jon's head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

CockO SauruS seems to be getting the better of the standup.
SauruS shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says jon as he avoids it easily.
SauruS comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

SauruS dips to his left and cracks jon with an uppercut!
SauruS connects with a looping right hand.
jon gets cracked there but stands up to it.

SauruS thuds a left hand into jon's body.
SauruS scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
SauruS scores with a nice right hand.
Oh jon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
SauruS throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends jon stumbling backwards into the cage! jon bounces back off the cage towards SauruS, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! SauruS lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! SauruS celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
