Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ismo Laitela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mos Defloratore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Defloratore fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Laitela is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Laitela throws a head kick but Defloratore moves out of range.
Laitela shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Defloratore manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Laitela lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Mos Defloratore has been cut.

Laitela throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Defloratore decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Defloratore seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Laitela does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Laitela fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Defloratore shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Laitela but Laitela pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Defloratore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Laitela shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Defloratore pinned against the cage. Defloratore gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Defloratore connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Defloratore misses with a series of wild punches.
A nice inside leg kick there by Defloratore. That's going to slow Laitela down.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Defloratore rushes Laitela and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Defloratore has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Laitela uses from the top position.

and Laitela counters with a nice body kick.
Ismo Laitela has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mos Defloratore.
Laitela is looking to land body kicks.
Laitela takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Laitela throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Defloratore gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Laitela is trying to drag Defloratore to the mat but Defloratore just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Laitela keeps control of Defloratore as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Laitela is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Defloratore can't fight it off and eventually Laitela manages to take the fight to the floor. Defloratore looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Mos Defloratore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Defloratore decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Laitela, up you get!
Laitela changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Defloratore tries to avoid it but Laitela manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Defloratore to the ground. Defloratore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Defloratore closes this distance looking for a takedown but Laitela circles away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Laitela closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Laitela decides to stand up, so the ref orders Defloratore to his feet.
Mos Defloratore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Laitela stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Defloratore.
Defloratore gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Laitela to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Defloratore bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Laitela's guard.

Laitela throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Defloratore is sitting in close to Laitela's body. Laitela has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Defloratore is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Defloratore is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Laitela.
