Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Dymond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floppy McPoppins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dymond comes to the cage accompanied by Are you gonna go my way. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPoppins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dymond throws out the jab.

Dymond feints and as McPoppins raises his hands in defense, Dymond changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dymond is fighting to break McPoppins's control of his arms but McPoppins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Dymond wants to control from the top but McPoppins keeps moving.

McPoppins sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Dymond looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McPoppins scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
