Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Broqui Lesmar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chev Chelios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesmar comes into the arena with SMC Hoodrats blaring out of the sound system. Broqui Lesmar could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Chev Chelios's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Lesmar.
Lesmar working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

It looks like Chev Chelios has been cut.
Chelios takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That has opened up Chev Chelios's cut even more.
Lesmar working the ground and pound but Chelios is defending the strikes.
Lesmar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lesmar in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Lesmar tries for a kimura but Chelios is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chelios is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Lesmar connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Chelios some visible discomfort.
