The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blocko.
jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Blocko scores with a decent looking hook.
Blocko fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
jones looks to land a combination but Blocko avoids it well.
A jab lands there for Blocko.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

jones looks to throw the jab but Blocko is out of range.

Blocko fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches jones on the side of the head.
Blocko sends jones crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Blocko is motioning to the referee to let jones up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like dave jones has been cut.

Blocko throws an uppercut from hell that sends jones clean off his feet! He's out cold! Blocko stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
