Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Paige (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Mercer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Mercer.
Paige misses with a looping left.
Mercer tries to move into range but Paige moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Max Mercer has been cut.
Paige misses with a wild combination.

Paige lands a left and a right that send Mercer crashing to the mat, dazed. Paige thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Paige looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mercer scores with a head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Paige lands a body shot.
A left lands for Paige.
Paige thows a left - swing and a miss!
Paige comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mercer looks gassed!
Paige throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mercer is looking to land body kicks.
Paige lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Mercer can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Paige and Mercer drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Paige.
