Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cornelius Crumpet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crumpet's entrance music is Kings of Leon - Fans. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Erik Williams was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Crumpet misses.

Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Crumpet shoots in but no luck this time.

Williams gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Crumpet is looking to break free of the clinch but Williams has double underhooks.
Williams lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Crumpet backwards.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Williams stalls.

Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A combination from Williams does no damage.
Cornelius Crumpet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crumpet drops his hands momentarily and Williams takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Crumpet shoots in but Williams avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Crumpet scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Williams closes the distance and clinches.
Crumpet wants to break free but Williams has control.

Crumpet throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Williams bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Crumpet's head backwards.
Williams fails to land with a series of punches.
Crumpet takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cornelius Crumpet. That's going to take a lot out of him.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Williams throws a wild body kick that Crumpet sees coming a mile off.
Crumpet looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range.
Crumpet throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Crumpet's corner calls for a 1-2. Crumpet obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Erik Williams dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
