The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vaquero closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Vaquero prevents Azevedo from improving his position.

Vaquero is working for a submission of some sort.
Azevedo moves into full guard.
Azevedo wants to stand up but Vaquero is controlling him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Azevedo throws a nice looking combination but Vaquero bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No joy there for Azevedo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vaquero keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
El Raton Vaquero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vaquero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Azevedo as he jumps to the side.

Vaquero closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Vaquero is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Azevedo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vaquero.

Vaquero is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Azevedo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
