The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrade throws a jab when Karatinov was well out of range.
Karatinov tries to clinch up but Andrade circles away and keeps his distance.

Andrade drops Karatinov with a nice combination! Andrade dives into Karatinov's guard, looking to finish!

Karatinov is rocked!

It looks like Alexander Karatinov has been cut.
Andrade passes Karatinov's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Oh Karatinov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Karatinov misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Karatinov is looking to improve his position.
Karatinov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Karatinov tries to get out of the position.

Andrade is taking a breather. Karatinov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Andrade prevents Karatinov from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andrade thows a huge punch but Karatinov dodges it nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Karatinov takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Karatinov shoots in for a takedown but Andrade shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Andrade cracks Karatinov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Karatinov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Andrade sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Karatinov somewhat.

Karatinov is breathing heavily.
Karatinov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Karatinov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Andrade lands a nice shot to the body.
