Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mean Mug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mean Mug is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwayne Hicks !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mean Mug!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mug looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hicks !
Hicks wants to try and get back to his feet.
Mug throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Hicks is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mug working for a guillotine from mount but Hicks is in no mood to give up.
Hicks is squirming around, avoiding Mug's attempts to control the action.
Mug has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hicks 's face.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hicks suckers Mug into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Hicks is now in Mug's guard!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hicks wants to get up but he can't break Mug's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mug has his foot on Hicks 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hicks works his way back into a safe position though.
Mug is trying to keep Hicks in close.

Mug is looking for a triangle but Hicks pushes his legs off easily.
Mug controls Hicks momentarily but Hicks frees himself.
Hicks is looking to stand up but Mug won't let him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mug throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hicks escapes and throws Mug's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Mug tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Hicks decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mug to his feet.
Mug shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hicks as he jumps to the side.
Mug looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hicks throws a series of punches but Mug moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Hicks as Mug shoots in.
The crowd cheers as Hicks lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mug doesn't seem phased though.
Mug tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hicks sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mug somewhat.
Dwayne Hicks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mean Mug.
Mug looks gassed!
Hicks will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Hicks works over Mug's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Mean Mug has been cut.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hicks scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mug shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hicks but Hicks pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hicks closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Mug! Hicks dives in looking to finish! Mug is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
