Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between charles xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Odin Wotan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wotan has chosen Pastor Troy- I Want War as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wotan throws a good cross that connects.

xavier closes the distance and clinches up with Wotan, looking for a takedown. xavier pushes Wotan against the cage but Wotan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
xavier shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wotan as he avoids it easily.

Wotan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with xavier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that charles xavier will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

xavier shoots in looking for a takedown. Wotan tries to sprawl out of it but xavier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wotan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
xavier is just content to waste time from the top position. Wotan takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
