Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Ripheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and charlie bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). charlie bishop will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripheart takes a swing at bishop's ribcage but misses.
Ripheart fakes high and swings low for a body shot but bishop manages to avoid it.
Ripheart tries to clinch there but bishop circles away.
bishop fails to land the takedown.
Ripheart wants to clinch up but bishop keeps it at a distance.

so bishop counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
bishop wants to stand but Ripheart has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Ripheart has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. bishop is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ripheart.

Randy Ripheart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of charlie bishop.
bishop is pressed up against the cage. Ripheart has hold of a leg and is looking to drag bishop down to the mat. bishop avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

bishop manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ripheart manages to get himself to full guard.

bishop escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ripheart gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

bishop has his foot on Ripheart's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ripheart works his way back into a safe position though.

Ripheart tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. bishop smiles and moves away.

Ripheart turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ripheart manages to end up in side control.

Ripheart throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around bishop's waist but bishop gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ripheart off to one side.

Ripheart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. bishop looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
bishop is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Ripheart off and has taken his back!

Ripheart defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of bishop's arms.

A close second round but charlie bishop will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
