Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jally Joseph!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joseph misses with a jab, cross combination.
Baggins throws a jab but it's blocked by Joseph.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Baggins.
Baggins lands a jab to the head.
Joseph uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Baggins.
Joseph uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baggins.

Joseph throws a right and a left that both miss.
Baggins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Baggins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Joseph fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Joseph ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

It looks like Jally Joseph has been cut.

Joseph drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Joseph won't allow Baggins to get back to his feet.

Joseph drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Baggins dives on top into guard.

Joseph shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Joseph was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Joseph throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Baggins's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Joseph is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Baggins to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Baggins shrugs it off.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Joseph throws a half hearted mid kick.
Joseph throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baggins.
Joseph throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A left and a right from Joseph both land. Nice combination.
Good leg kick by Baggins there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Baggins lands with a hook. Joseph tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Baggins throws a good cross that connects.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Joseph throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Joseph is still on wobbly legs! Can Baggins finish him?
Frodo Baggins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baggins cracks Joseph with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jally Joseph is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Joseph takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
