PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between cucu curu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Dank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). curu has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dank turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dank manages to end up in side control.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dank rushes curu and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

curu shoots in for a double leg but Dank sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

curu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dank uses from the top position.
Dank is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dank wants to get up but he can't break curu's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
curu lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dank!
