Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny The Nanny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen Alice In Chains - Rooster as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manny The Nanny!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Randy Williams!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The Nanny looks to throw the jab but Williams is out of range.
Williams is trying hard to land a takedown here. The Nanny sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Williams slips under a jab.
The Nanny slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The Nanny misses with a straight left.
The Nanny lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The Nanny tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Williams fails with an attempt to clinch.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt - The Nanny sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Manny The Nanny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Williams.

Manny The Nanny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Nanny lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively.
Williams uses good head movement to avoid the hook from The Nanny.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Williams.
Williams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has The Nanny pinned against the cage. The Nanny gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The Nanny closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Williams misses with a hook to the ribs.
Williams struggles to land a body shot inside as The Nanny controls his hands.
The Nanny throws an elbow but it's blocked.
The Nanny tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Williams avoids it.

Williams gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, The Nanny regains guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Williams is pushing down on The Nanny's leg trying to pass to half guard. The Nanny is fighting to maintain full guard but Williams has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Nanny has hold of Williams's hands but Williams slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The Nanny is looking for a sweep. Williams is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Williams is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so The Nanny is just riding it out for now. Williams eventually gives up the hold.
Williams tries to pass the half guard into mount. The Nanny knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Williams thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing The Nanny to regain full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The Nanny tries to land a sweep but no joy.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
The Nanny throws a shot from downtown. Williams moves away and avoids it.

Williams shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Nanny swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Nanny tries to kick Williams off but Williams keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Manny The Nanny will probably get the nod.

Williams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has The Nanny pinned against the cage. The Nanny gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Williams lands a jab to the nose.
Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by The Nanny.
The Nanny will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The Nanny leaves Williams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The Nanny misses with a hook. Williams ducked under it nicely.
Williams lands with a nice body punch.
The Nanny darts in trying to clinch

and Williams decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in The Nanny's guard.
The Nanny can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Williams controls the pace.
Williams postures up in The Nanny's guard and throws a big left but The Nanny blocks it.
The Nanny pulls Williams in close to his closed guard and prevents Williams from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Manny The Nanny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Williams.

The Nanny scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Williams doesn't seem bothered though.

Randy Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now The Nanny is on top in guard.

Williams can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as The Nanny is looking to escape.
Williams has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of The Nanny's face.

The Nanny tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The Nanny wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Williams.
The Nanny suckers Williams into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! The Nanny is now in Williams's guard!
Williams is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Williams shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. The Nanny defends it nicely.

Williams changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Nanny looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Williams misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Williams is nestled in close to The Nanny, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The Nanny is looking to control Williams's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can The Nanny avoid being mounted?

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


The Nanny misses the jab.
Williams fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt The Nanny.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts The Nanny, as that shot connected.
Williams misses with the combination.

Williams instigates a clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
A body shot lands from Williams.
The Nanny gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Williams.
Williams has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

The Nanny is pressed up against the cage. Williams has hold of a leg and is looking to drag The Nanny down to the mat. The Nanny avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
The Nanny misses with an uppercut. Williams saw that one coming.

Williams dives in and grabs The Nanny's left leg, looking for a takedown. The Nanny pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.
Manny The Nanny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Williams.
Williams is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell?
The Nanny misses with a series of wild punches.
Williams shoots for a takedown but The Nanny saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

I would just about give that final round to Randy Williams.
