Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Allister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerhard Rihmakallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rihmakallo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Blood For Blood-Living In Exile. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Gerhard Rihmakallo enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gerhard Rihmakallo!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rihmakallo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Allister tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Allister's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Allister holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Rihmakallo tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Rihmakallo throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Allister because Rihmakallo loaded up on that one.
Rihmakallo looking to ground and pound but Allister is blocking nicely.
Rihmakallo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rihmakallo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Allister can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Allister knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rihmakallo on the ground.

Rihmakallo sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rihmakallo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Rihmakallo wants to control the pace but Allister is squirming around nicely.
Rihmakallo is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rihmakallo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Rihmakallo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Allister has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Allister!
Rihmakallo has his foot on Allister's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Allister works his way back into a safe position though.
Allister wants to get up but he can't break Rihmakallo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Rihmakallo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Allister stands and steps away. Rihmakallo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Allister lands a big head kick that sends Rihmakallo tumbling to the mat! Allister takes a step backwards and waves Rihmakallo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rihmakallo is rocked!
It looks like Gerhard Rihmakallo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Allister is breathing heavily.
Allister throws a head kick that misses.
Allister stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Allister wants it to stay on the feet.
Allister lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Rihmakallo is looking to close the distance but Allister sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Rihmakallo crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Rihmakallo is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
