He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

zlo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. rivera sprawls well initially but zlo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
rivera looks gassed!

zlo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

zlo decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

zlo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

zlo darts in and clinches rivera up against the cage.
zlo has had enough of the clinch but rivera keeps him there for the moment.
