The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPuncherson thuds a left hand into Slice's body.

Slice looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Slice looks gassed!
Slice lands a couple of digs.
McPuncherson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
McPuncherson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McPuncherson tries to get out of the position.
McPuncherson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Slice has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Slice won't allow McPuncherson to sweep him here.
McPuncherson is controlling Slice's posture.

McPuncherson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Slice manages to get himself to full guard.
McPuncherson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
McPuncherson wants to pass the guard but Slice is keeping the position.
McPuncherson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Slice wants to get back to his feet but McPuncherson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McPuncherson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Slice is looking to sweep but instead, McPuncherson has passed into half guard.
McPuncherson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

McPuncherson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Slice misses with a wild combination.
McPuncherson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Slice walks into a stiff left hand from McPuncherson.

McPuncherson drops Slice with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Slice looks back up at him and smiles so McPuncherson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Slice is rocked!
Punchy McPuncherson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McPuncherson is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Slice hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
