Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tony Bova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bova's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I came to bring the pain!. Smiff is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: New born. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Smiff!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smiff pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bova closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bova lands in his opponent's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bova fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smiff, pushing him back against the ropes.

Bova tries for a takedown but Smiff sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Bova. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bova shoots for a double leg takedown but Smiff sprawls well. He's pushed Bova's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
No joy there for Smiff, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Smiff lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bova has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bova and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
