Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Kuklinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Prince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prince has chosen The Fresh Prince as his entrance music. Richard Kuklinski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Kuklinski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjamin Prince!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuklinski doesn't manage to clinch there - Prince circles away.
A leg kick checked by Kuklinski.

Kuklinski pushes Prince up against the cage in a clinch.
A right hand to the body from Kuklinski.

Prince is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kuklinski is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Prince to the mat. Prince regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Prince looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Kuklinski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kuklinski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Prince is pulling down on Kuklinski's head to control his posture.
Prince tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kuklinski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Prince is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Kuklinski is working for a guillotine from mount but Prince frees his head quite easily.

Kuklinski is landing with some decent strikes but Prince is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Prince tries to hold on but Kuklinski postures up.
Kuklinski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kuklinski throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kuklinski has control of Prince's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Prince regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Prince really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuklinski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kuklinski goes for an armbar but Prince turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Prince.

Kuklinski is looking for a triangle but Prince pushes his legs off easily.

Prince throws and low kick but Kuklinski moves out of range easily.
Prince lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kuklinski avoids a punch combination nicely.
A left and a right from Prince both land. Nice combination.
Prince throws a jab but it's blocked by Kuklinski.

Kuklinski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Kuklinski wants to pass the guard but Prince is keeping the position.
Prince is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kuklinski is controlling him.

Kuklinski is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Prince is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Prince has escaped and now he's on top!
Prince wants to control from the top but Kuklinski keeps moving.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kuklinski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Prince is aware though and is defending well.
Kuklinski controls Prince momentarily but Prince frees himself.

Kuklinski has his foot on Prince's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Prince works his way back into a safe position though.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kuklinski is on top in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prince can do anything to dispel that myth.
Prince looking for a sweep. Not yet Prince, not yet.
Prince controls Kuklinski momentarily but Kuklinski frees himself.

Kuklinski stands and steps away. Prince gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kuklinski shoots in for a takedown but Prince shows good takedown defense.
Prince misses with a series of wild punches.
Kuklinski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Prince tries to avoid it but Kuklinski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Prince to the ground. Prince escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Prince throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Kuklinski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Prince's guard.
Kuklinski postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Prince wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


Prince connects with a solid leg kick.
Prince leaves Kuklinski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kuklinski with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Prince to score with a decent uppercut.
Kuklinski avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Kuklinski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Prince, pushing him back against the cage.
Kuklinski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Prince pulls his leg out and moves away.
Prince misses with a head kick.
Kuklinski slips a jab and a cross from Prince.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Kuklinski keeps control of Prince as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Prince's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Prince is trying to break free.
Kuklinski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Prince is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kuklinski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Prince looks for the body kick but Kuklinski saw that one coming.
Kuklinski moves out of range of the body kick from Prince.
Kuklinski chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Prince can pounce on him.
Kuklinski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Prince as he jumps to the side.
Kuklinski moves out of range as Prince throws a body kick.
Kuklinski staying out of range there.
Prince lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Prince throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kuklinski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Prince sprawls well. Prince wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kuklinski gets slowly back to his feet.
Prince misses with a low kick as Kuklinski jumps back.
Prince throws a wild body kick that Kuklinski sees coming a mile off.
Kuklinski wants to clinch.
Prince walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kuklinski checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kuklinski shoots for a double leg takedown but Prince sprawls well. He's pushed Kuklinski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Prince avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Prince misses with a wild combination.

Kuklinski moves out of range as Prince strikes.
Kuklinski slips a jab and a cross from Prince.
Kuklinski blocks a head kick by Prince.
Kuklinski fails with a takedown attempt.
Benjamin Prince has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Prince misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Prince clobbers Kuklinski with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
