Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Monroe Hutchin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keijo Kustavilainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monroe Hutchin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hutchin wants to clinch up but Kustavilainen keeps it at a distance.
Hutchin slips a jab and a cross from Kustavilainen.
Keijo Kustavilainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kustavilainen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hutchin's waist but Hutchin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kustavilainen off to one side.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kustavilainen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hutchin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kustavilainen.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
