The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goro digs a good body shot into Naiz's ribs.
Naiz loads up on a big right hand but Goro slips the punch.
Yumi Goro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Goro is looking to clinch but Naiz is avoiding it.
Goro looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Naiz motions for Goro to come forward. Naiz throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Goro shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Naiz can do anything to dispel that myth.
Goro avoids the attempt from Naiz to control.
Naiz regains half guard.
Naiz tries to get to full guard but Goro has control of the leg.
Naiz wants to control but Goro is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Naiz keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Goro drops an elbow to the side of Naiz's head.
Goro thows a huge punch but Naiz dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Goro is trying to control the action in half guard but Naiz is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Goro works his way into side control.
Goro lands an elbow.
It looks like Kriz Naiz has been cut.
Naiz misses with a strike from the bottom.
Goro landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That has opened up Kriz Naiz's cut even more.

Naiz is looking to reverse the position.

Kriz Naiz's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kriz Naiz's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
